Our 90-minute parties include themed games and activities, prizes, refreshments, party decorations, full-fantasy face painting and fabulous goody bags. Choose from any of our regular party themes or make up a new one for your group!

Sugar Buzz offers 8 parties for 4 Girl Scout junior patches. If you have a girl scout troop of younger or older girls in Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers or Zionsville, we can customize our activities to meet their interests as well.

Girl Scout Patch Programs at Sugar Buzz

Girl Scouts Business-Wise Patch

Session A - Reqs 2, 3 & 4 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Girl Scouts have the chance to interview our two partners (both women) about starting and running a business (2), and then participate in a discussion with them about working for yourself versus others (3). Partners then lead the girls through the process of completing a business plan (4).

Session B - Reqs 6, 7 & 8 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Girl Scouts develop a generic budget and marketing plan then customize them to match their own business ideas (6,7). Each girl is then invited to present these plans to the group (8).

Girl Scouts Theater Patch

Session A - Requirements 4, 5 & 7 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Girl Scouts work with our professional face painters to learn about good hygiene to use with theatrical paint, as well as the differences between these paints and regular make-up. Girls work in teams to paint eachother’s faces (7). Girls waiting to paint will practice “acting out” different emotions (5) and then choose a partner to mimic (4).

Session B - Requirements 2, 3 & 8 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Owner Wendy Reed, who has a BFA in Theater, and sings locally, demonstrates how to make yourself heard from the stage (8). Girl Scouts break into groups to develop characters (2) and then use their new speaking skills to demonstrate those characters to the rest of the group (3).

Girl Scouts Jeweler Patch

Session A - Reqs 1, 7 & 8 - one hour program - $10 per scout includes materials
Girl Scouts will be invited to make necklaces, bracelets, pins and barrettes with everything from newspapers to stones (1, 7), then will decorate their own jewelry boxes to carry their new gear home (8).

Session B - Reqs 2, 3 & 10 - one hour program - $10 per scout includes materials
Girl Scouts will view pictures of jewelry from our own, foreign and historic cultures and will be invited to discuss the features they notice and symbolism the jewelry might represent (3, 10). Girls will learn how to macrame and be encouraged to use this to create friendship bracelets (2, 10).

Girl Scouts Dance Patch

Session A - Reqs 2, 4 & 5 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Girl Scouts will review videos and discuss movement with a Butler Dance graduate who will lead them in a session which makes them aware of how their own moods effect how they move (2). More video of international dance will be followed with lessons in how to do those dances (4, 5).

Session B - Reqs 1, 3 & 9 - one hour program - $7.50 per scout
Girl Scouts return to watch and discuss movement in the human and animal world (1). Girls are encouraged to dress up in their favorite period costumes and participate in learning basic tap steps (3) plus favorite dances from the 40s through the 70s (9).
